JKT48 the first overseas sister group of AKB48 completed their ever first stage in their homebase Jakarta on the 17th of May 2012.
They performed Team B’s 3rd stage, and will be doing so 4 days in the row from the 17th to the 20th of May with 2 shows a day, 3pm and 7pm.

Otaku Singer, Shoko Nakagawa(aka Shoko-tan) and rising idol group, Momoiro Clover Z, will be performing at the Japan Fest hosted by the government as part of Hari Belia.
Sashihara Rino, AKB48 member, might have accidentally be the first AKB48 member to release an album due to a mis-understanding of rules leading to a cock-up by Avex Japan.
Last Thursday was the release day of AKB48′s Team B captain Kashiwagi Yuki’s 2nd photo book titled “Yu, Yu, Yukirin…”. And thanks to Amazon Japan, I have gotten my own copy the very next day.

Shoko Nakagawa aka Shoko-Tan is set to have her first Asia Tour, Hello I am Nakagawa Shoko Asia tour, this coming August and her destinations includes Taipei, Hong Kong, Guang Zhou, Shanghai and Singapore.
