TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON CON in Singapore.

Coming this March, the transformers will be touching down in Singapore at the Resort World Sentosa.

The TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON CON is the first in the region and will be featuring many exhibits like 25 years worth of items from Hasbro, original designs, 3D dioramas and the 22 ft tall Optimus Prime Character statue.

Special Guest include the leader designer of Transformer Toys at Takara Tomy, Mr. Hideki Yoke. He will be present to host a special panel with the fans of the transformer series.

There will also be drawing classes by Hasbro artist, to teach drawing of transformers.

If you haven’t visited RWS or the Universal Studio Singapore… Maybe this will be a good time~

BRS TV anime, streamed Worldwide in 8 Languages

Starting 3rd of February, Nico Nico Douga will be streaming Black Rock Shooter TV anime following its début premier on the 2nd on Fuji TV.

Subsequent episodes of the anime series will also be made available weekly at 11pm(JST) on Friday.

Anyone with a Nico Nico Douga account can then watch the anime free of charge via the video sharing site.

The film will be accompanied by 8 languages of subtitles namely, English, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, French, German, Italian, Korean, and Spanish.

The series is directed by Shinobu Yoshioka, and will feature voice actress, Kana Hanazawa as Mato Kuroi, the main character and BRS, Miyuki Sawashiro as Yomi Takanashi, Mato’s best friend and Dead Master and Kana Azumi as Yu Kotari, Mato’s friend and Black Gold Saw.

L’ Arc en Ciel Singapore and Indonesia date confirmed

On the website of L’Arc En Ciel world tour, the location for the Singapore and Indonesia round of the Tour is decided along with a date.

It’s also a surprise for fan in Indonesia as there is previously no mention of such an item. With the addition of the 2 location, the tour now consist of 10 location with 3 in South East Asia, namely Bangkok, Jakarta and Singapore.

The location of the New York show has also been decided and it will be held at the Madison Square Garde, making them the first Japanese Band to Headline there.

Congratulations! Looks like this is going to be a very memorable 20th Anniversary~

L’Arc en Ciel Coming to Singapore, soon!

L’ Arc en Ciel will be coming to Singapore soon, presumingly as part of their world tour. The news broke via an advertisement placed on the Singapore Press Holding’s, Strait Times, news paper.

More Code Geass ahead~“>The event will be handled by Lushington Entertainments, a well established concert event company. In the same advertisement boost the name of well know artist like Duran Duran, Evanescence, Roxette, Olivia Newton-John and CHARICE.

Bandai today revealed that the featured film Code Geass: Bokoku no Akito (Akito the Exile) will be on 10 screen around Japan this coming summer. They have as well announced the seiyuu for the main cast,

Marukaru Reira – Maaya Sakamoto (坂本真綾)

Nogizaka46′s debut single is Guruguru Curtain

After the revelation of the Senbatsu members for the idol group’s début single, it’s announced today that their single will be titled Guruguru Curtain. The song is also the CM song for Meiji’s Milk Chocolate.

The single will be released on the 22nd of February but the advertisement will start to air on the 14th of January.

The girls from Nogizaka 46 will also be meeting their official rival on the same stage at the recording for Feb 6th edition of Music Japan.

Singapore AKB48 Theater first show dates announced!

Volume 11 of Singapore AKB48 Theater at *SCAPE have been announced for the 28th of January.

It will be a AKB48 Stage with 2 shows at 2 and 6PM.

Singapore: AFA SPRING TAIKAI!

Much like a treat for the girls, AFA will be holding the Spring Taikai on the 5th of February at *SCAPE bringing big name pretty boy cosplayers, GERODasoku (蛇足), and KANAME.

Hello! My name is Yuhao, I’m from Singapore. Well in terms of nicknames on the websites, most call me Yugi. I will be introducing myself but I am new, so I will try my best

I am currently studying to take part in the GCE “N” levels, hoping to enter a photography course, as I really like taking photos even thou I’m still an amateur at it. Basically i am a fan of animes, an otaku and also visits events like the AFA (Anime Festival Asia), Hatsune Miku concert and the EOY.

As such I Iike Japanese culture a lot, and my dream is to go Japan, ever since primary school. The above is a few pictures I have taken, though it’s not really good, I tried my best.

Currently, I also have a page on Facebook which I share information from Ani-culture.net till I heard that they are recruiting writers. Thus I wished to take this chance to improve myself and reach my goals.

I am still new here and I will try my best. Hope you guys can like what I post soon! ^^

=3 Hirano Aya to play a role in Sashihara Rino’s debut drama~

It’s revealed today that Hirano Aya will be part of the cast for the late night drama, Muse no Kagami, join Sashihara Rino as a supporting character.

Her role in the drama is an ex-entertainer forced out of the industry after offending a “major” company. She is also mentor to Maki, played by Sashihara, after discovering her talent.

More details about the storyline has also been revealed, pointing to a “bad guy” character from the “Major Company” out to sabotage Maki’s entertainment career only to fall in love with her, complicating the matter further.

The 24 episode drama will be starting on NTV, from the 14th of January at 1:55AM(JST).

Momo Pro Z! Wrestling manga based on …

The 5 member Sentai hero girl idol group called Momoiro Clover z. This manga titled Momo Pro Z! is stated to be in the march Issue of the Monthly Shonen Rival magazine to be out on the 3rd of February.

Momo Pro Z! is a gag manga and in the story, the members of the idol group is depicted as masked hero taking part in the a pro-wrestling matches.

The March issue of Monthly Shonen Rival will also be featuring Momoiro Clover Z on the cover and includes a full colour poster, even thou the manga itself will not have a colour page.

Other Manga based on Idol groups are AKB0048, AKB49 and WaiWaiHey Say Jump!

Momoiro Clover Z is an idol group consisting of 5 mid to highschool girls that studies during the day and ~~fight crimes~~ sings at night. Their latest single, Rondo Sanka, ranked 7th on oricon weekly in the first week.

And just recently they announced that they will be contributing songs to the anime Moretsu Pirates.

Evangelion Site Refresh, Teases FINAL

On the first of January 2012, the Evangelion site is refreshed and now the site announced the FINAL movie in the series. And they even put a year on it @_@!!!

It’s currently named,

I’m not sure if “?” is the title, given that it’s them… or it’s just a place holder for a better title… Eitherway for now, lets just call it “Evangelion: ?” or FINAL. And its currently for a 2013 release.

The next movie in the series is “EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN (NOT) REDO” previously known as Q, planned or a 2012 Autumn release, like FINALLY!
