SEA☆A in May’n Asia Tour?

Thanks to the ability of the Chinese people during the China leg of the concert, we have video of the starting act in the May’n Asia Tour 2011: United!

And its by the self proclaimed Sea☆A , comprising of 4 girls whom looks rather familiar.

I think I can spot Moe, and Tomomi in the mix… Futher proving that our local celebritiy might have hit the jackpot and is heading overseas!

Still on the 24th of May, according to the Sea☆A website, there will be a revealation and then we can see of our speculation is correct…

Perhaps there might even be a link to the announcement to be made by Lantis also on the 24th May, according to this website. Well who knows, I could be 2 different matters

China Gansaku disappears!

Previously, we have reported that in a certain china amusement park appeared a orange colour Gundam statue. This news was also told to the public in Japan via cable and national TV.

And a big uproar ensues, so much so that there is a heated debate in among the Japanese forums. Some chosed to christen the China Gundam as “Gansaku” or counterfeit in Japanese.

Fuji TV even went down to the amusement park in question to check on the “Gansaku”. When they were there, the picture of the Gansaku was in the middle of a remodeling after complains of it being too similar to the Gundam in Japan. Even thou on the shoulder pieces still printed the wordings EFSF and WB.

It was told to the FUJI TV crew that the Gansaku is a completely original design and in no way related to the Gundam in Japan.

However Sotsu. inc, the company incharge of the Gundam copyight, trademark and merchandising is not talking any chances and are now thinking of flexing it’s legal arm.

Best of all, the amusement park later denied the existences of the statue and it was no where to be found. But eye witness accounts mentioned that the statue had been removed by the park.

Still this might not be the end of the park’s trouble for designs very similar to the Ultraman have been found in the park… …

Gundam Lookalike Rises in China

Chengdu Guosetianxiang, an amusement park in the central Chinese province of Sichuan, has erected a 15-meter-tall (about 49-foot-tall) statue with a striking resemblance to the title robot from Gundam science-fiction anime franchise. According to the official website of the park, the statue will be decorated to “light up the Christmas night.”

Narinari.com posted images of the statue during construction, while a user on the Photobucket website posted an image of the completed statue. Chengdu Guosetianxiang’s statue is shorter than the 18-meter-tall (59-foot-tall) Gundam statue that once stood at Tokyo’s Odaiba Island and now stands in the central Japanese city of Shizuoka.

K-Uh!! Oh my…

Her face got eaten!!! Ritsu! no!!!!!!!

This is the latest from the factories of china producing some of the most amazing fakes in the world. The bootleg Ritsu Nendo above is only 1 of them in a list of fakes in the K-Uh!! series…

For example this poor excuse of a Tsumugi…

Doesn’t she just remind you of a certain sader sometime back… Oh the best in the series, in terms of build will have to be Mio… thou, very close…  lol!

Real Vs Fake

From far that is… take a closer look at it and you will regret even forking out a dollar for it…

See? So the lesson here is, beware of fakes, there might be some figures that are cheap, but don’t let those destroy you mood, thanks to a few dollars…

Buy only from the trusted source, unless you are really so good at differentiating the bootlegs. There are many good places you can get your figurines from, both online and offline.

For me, my favorite stores are, KKnM(Singapore and region), Hobbysearch, and CDJapan.

A new Monster Hunter game?

Nope not really. The game, Hunter’s Blade is by a chinese game developer, Joy China or isit Dawawa…? Either way, it’s a MMORPG and it’s servers are already up in China with real players and frequent competitions. That wouldn’t be a problem, since a new game in China, especially one that looks good is not a problem.

The cause for problem would be that… Don’t you think it looks very like the Monster Hunter by Capcom? Nope? Look closely at the following promotion pictures and the Logo.

Capcom already made known to all that, Hunter Blade have not licensed any of it’s properties and design for the making of this game. And currently, there is no news on what action Capcom is going to be taking.

So If you are interested in the game, you can find it for download at it’s official website. 1 thing thou, it’s in Chinese.

Go ahead if you want to play a free ripoff version of monster hunter there you have it, Hunter Blade or Lie Dao.

Btw, the video is from the 8th China Digital Entertainment Expo or China Joy, in Shanghai China. It’s currently the biggest Game related fair in China.

Well, I might just be kicking up a big fuss here…

1:1 scale models…

In the recent time since the completion of the Gundam in Odaiba city, there seems to be a trend to built models as big as the anime or movies. In Japan, the 1:1 scale Gundam RX-78-02 is moved from Odaiba to Shizoka city, completed with a new upgrade, carrying a Beam Saber.

I’ll be sure to go visit the monument when I visit Japan next year. But that is not all that Japan can offer.

Updated(25th July): I didn’t know but the 1:1 scale model of the RX-78-2, opens yesterday. Above is a video of the opening ceremony, the model will be taken apart on the 31st of March, so if you are going, go quick.

In a theme park some where in the area(see the mountain behind, yup that’s mount fuji), Fuji-Q Highland theme park, will be playing host to the first 1:1 EVA-01. It’s really only the upper body but it will be quite big and you will be close to it, practically staring it in the eyes…

It had only recently been open to public(23 July 2010) and the launch is even broadcasted on Ustream. What pity I missed it… Hmm no matter… Not that I will travel up to the theme park just to see it… That would really depend on my schedule, yah?

Source: Zone Otaku

Of cos, not to be beaten the Chinese have made a stunning work of art, the Optimus Prime!

Lets Roll out!

Made for a environment awareness event, the model is made completely out of scrapes and should really be appluaded for it’s rather good looking model.

Ain’t it good looking, don’t be so choosy lar, after all it’s really made from car scraps. The project is not on display next to the Bird Nest Stadium, in Beijing. So, if you are there, go take a look at it and be awwed by the 10 meter tall metal work. Just don’t stand too close, incase the win blows, yah?

月Yue 西Xi 江Jiang – Hatsune Miku

这首歌是初音唱的, 很好听把!但是可气疯了一点日本人啊。。。

This song is sang in Chinese and by Hatsune Miku. A very nice song which managed to use the voice synthesizer rather nicely, with a song written by Solpie.

But this song is creating some racist comment from the popular video hosting site NICO NICO… Leading to the deletion of the video by the creator… This a bit sad but what to do, it’s quite a norm, so say the experts…
