Update: I have downloaded Joysound Dive and to my disappointment, It’s region locked. I’m very sorry for making so many happy for nothing.

It also does Yasushi~ Idol Master for the PS3!

The Playstation 3 will be getting what many in Japan only dreamed off since 2009…

Bandai Namco’s Idol Master series will be coming to the Playstation 3 console, it’s like the final stronghold of the XBOX 360 in Japan, the only Game that manage to actually sell a 100,000 copies.

The game that allows everyone to live like Yasushi Akimoto(AKB48, SKE48, NMB48) the top idol producer. Now every PS3 owner can do so~

Does this mark the end for the 360 in Japan? Have Microsoft gave up or did they really believe that their Kinect will work in Japan?

Or as the rumors are going about, they are focusing on their next gen console, the 720?

Eitherway, how many Playstation 3 owner will buy the game? I dunno… But it sure sound like a good deal with all the DLCs(Till the currently Available ones) worth 25000 yen, for just 7980 yen.

hmm good deal sia…

There is also the 19,800 yen special package that include a lot of stuff including Vol. 1 of the Anime, Soundtrack CD for the Game, a gravure Magazine, and another PS3 game for taking pictures… hmm…

So look forward to it~ Will update price later.

PS: Idol Master 2 is not even a year old, it’s just released for the 360 in May.

Bandai Wins in China! Awarded ~US$120,000

Bandai took on Hongli, to protect their Intellectual Property, namely the series Gundam.

And according to Kotaku, Bandai won! Not just once, but twice with the 2nd being the appeal by Hongli, and is awarded an equivalent of US$120k for their trouble of engaging a lawyer to do this.

Banzai!

Just so you know, Hongli are the people who made the “TT” brand of model kits…

If you don’t know what’s happening, around April last year, Bandai took Chinese Toy Maker Hongli along with a distributor to court for allegedly infringing their copyright of the Gundam and SD Gundam warrior.

The case got an hearing in Beijing First Intermediate People Court, and words are that Bandai even brought along 41 items that infringed on their copyrights.

You can read more on it in

.

Perhaps this this why they are so wonderful to announce for us Super Robots Wars: OG for the PS3!

Itsuwari no Utahime hybrid pack!

Kono service, mendo shin dakara-ne!

Another part of my release filled October, today’s arrival is the long awaited Macross F:Itsuwari no Utahime hybrid pack. To be honest, this is probably the very first time I have seen a BD movie released with a game concurrently on the same BD media.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of owning a PS3, so I can’t say much for the game, though the images looks promising. However, my rig is able to play the movie as per normal without many problems despite having the game on the very same disc.

Shall not spoil so much on the movie for those who have yet to see it, and since its aired last November, a good scour through Google will probably show what happened in the movie in detail. What I can say its, in terms of eye candy, its a big WOW be it Sheryl’s concert performance or the battle scenes. And I can’t wait for the 2nd part of this movie series, which will be aired in Japan next February.

The hybrid pack is available for order at cdjapan.

Captain America: Super Soldier Trailer

“>Marvel has annouced their upcoming game tie-in for the movie, Captain America: The First Avenger.

Titled Captain America: Super Soldier, it chronicles the exploits of the captain during World War II.

Action looks really good in the game, although the moves Captain America uses reminds me of the Prince of Persia….
