At yesterday’s Wonder Festival, Winter in Japan, a place to showcase your own indie kits, figurines and event toys. A place where big bosses of the industry will be looking our for either new ideas or talents.

Minegishi Strain~

Autumn is the season for all sorts of viruses and flus… But there is these very Kawaii strain being hunted down relentlessly by the Anti-Virus maker, Kaspersky.

And they managed to find the source, and name the virus strain, Minegishi Influenza. Since the virus turns any face on a webpage into that of AKB48′s member, Minegishi Minami.

Thus the apologises and etc in the above video, for the trouble caused. It’s also been revealed that she started doing this since AKB48′s Beginner Single and didn’t mean to harm anyone. In fact it’s for private use but somehow it just went online.

Some damages have however been done, resulting in a few very interesting pictures and even the hijacking of some AKB related TV programs.With the most noticeable being “Flying Get Miichan Ver.”

In fact you can still tryout the virus in a controlled environment at Kaspersky’s Site for the Miichan Campaign.

Admitting that she is ignorant about online security, she is happy to learn from Kaspersky and then use what she learned.

OK, so Minegishi is now the cover girl for Kaspersky Anti-Virus and they will be releasing a version of their software with Miichan products, including a thumbdrive with the Flying Get Miichan ver. video.

I’m quite looking forward to importing software~ hmm~ How should i do it?

Previously mentioned in Acchan’s blog, is that she is featured in a CM for JOYSOUND, the Karaoke maker. Together with her are Miyazaki Miho, Komori Mika, Oya Shizuka, and Sashihara Rino.

And they have given us a few Karaoke clips of them singing~

The new Utasuki series from JoySound is a Karaoke X Social service combination, allowing user to upload their sessions online and then allowing friends to sing along to it~ As demonstrated in the video below,

Btw, Acchan’s solo single Flower will be going on sale next Wednesday, 22nd of June. Available in 3 act with different Side Bs… … Apparently, she likes Act 1‘s Hoozue to Caffe Macchiato best after Flower. There are also Act 2 and Act 3 with a different Side B song.

SUPER GT300: GoodSmile Racing Team!

Forget the F1 race going on around the world now… In Japan, Goodsmile Racing and TeamUKYO announced their latest Car to take part in the Japanese Super GT300 race. And the above is their car!

A BMW Z4 GT3 tuned by the Studio AG, with Miku fronting the bonnet and the doors, named “Hatsune Miku GoodSmile BMW Z4″

If you need to buy something to commemorate this event, then look forward to a petit nendoroid by GSC based on the car’s design and a Race Queen Hatsune Miku.

Haruhi as a English Textbook!

Tanigawa Nagaru’s “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, the hit Anime Series, manga and novel, has been turned into an English Text Book for High School Students! Split into 2 books, the textbook series in total contains over 2700 words meant for the college exam use.

It will cost just 1600 yen for vol. 1 and 1400 yen for vol. 2 and it even comes with various illustrations found in the original novel.

So to all the Japanese High School students（高校生）, I envy you… … …

The book is published by Chukei, a part Kadokawa Publishing.

Seriously, you can’t lied to Anime fan anymore, thanks to HD tech… the News article shown in the latest Tiger and Bunny episode exploded into a discussion on 2ch with people willing to unblur the article to get the back story only to figure that it was just an article from the NYTimes, much to the disappointment of 2ch, and those wanting to know the story behind Bunny-kun’s parent’s death.

LoL, looks like using even stock articles are going to be quite a difficult task for anime producers in the future.
