A trailer is posted online, this is the 2nd one if I’m not mistaken. And I have a feeling the movie despite having Mariko as the Guest might be quite fail… … Oh the acting…

And so the AKB48 24th Single Jankan Tournament is concluded with a historic first. Maeda Atsuko is not in Senbatsu for the first time.

Movie: Tatsumi Kino Event 09/09/11

11 idols + Cheers = Cheerfu11y?

Universal studio is cashing in on the Idol bloom with the release of the movie Cheerfu11y, featuring 11 idols from different groups.

Base on Tokyohive,

The movie stars Kikkawa Yuu and ex-Momoiro Clover member Hayami Akari. Alongside them are Passpo☆ members Tamai Anna, Anzai Naomi, Sakuma Kaho, and Mori Shiori. ‘Up-Up GirlsFurukawa Kontasu and Mori Saki will join them, along with Akiyama Yurika and Goto Yuki from ‘THE Possible‘, and Niwa Mikiho from ‘Canary Club‘.

The movie is about the 11 girls participating in a cheer-leading competition in hope of using the prize money to pay for an expensive bronze statue, they broke.

It’s also mentioned that the girls involved in the movie have also practiced a lot and have tried their best for the film.

Cheerfu11y will open this October 22nd. And this being a universal production, you can look forward to its international début soon.
