IND: Sneak Peek of Japanese Culture Festival at Surabaya

Here is a sneak peek of what happening in Japanese Culture Festival at Surabaya. Photos were taken yesterday.

For reminder, The event is now held at Atrium Rainbow Plaza, BG Junction, Surabaya on 27 January at 2PM till 9PM and on 28-29 January at 10AM til 9PM by Surabaya’s Japan Embassy, Surabaya’s Universities and some Japanese language schools/organizations. Today is the last day, so move out if this event tickle your fancy! XD

AKB48: Seibu Dome DVD box set.

This July 22nd to 24th, AKB48 and her sister groups held their first ever dome concert at Seibu Dome located in Saitama. It was one heck of a concert spanning 3 hours at least per day amid the harsh Japanese summer where average temperatures were at 40 degress.

And here I have, is the DVD box set containing the video footage of the concert for all 3 days and a making of/behind the scenes DVD disc.

SG: Hitomi @ The EOY 2011

Before I got in to the rest of the EOY11 items, I must emphasise how cute Hitomi from Akiba’s @Home Cafe is.

Her antics during the many appearances both on and off the stage, very easily outshone all the meido present during the event ne~ And I thought they are Kawaii too when I just arrive at the event.

Figure Photography – Shooting with DSLR and Compact Camera

Nikon D7000 and Sony TX1

Recently I’m interested to buy a Panasonic LX5 which is one of the best compact camera these days.

My friend is selling it cheap and it’s a no-brainer for me but the problem is, I just bought a new Nikon D7000 and still have 2009′s Sony TX1 which still in a great condition. After thinking for a while I’ve decided to test each camera with Alter Saber Summer ver., to test their capability.

Of course, D7000 won in almost all aspects except the compact size. Sony TX1 lost on paper, since the LX5 have a better lens and bigger sensor. Even though I don’t have LX5 to test but let’s just see if D7000 and TX1 can deliver good and interesting images.
