On the 28th of August, a few shops in Akihabara together with Banpresto held the Magical Lyrical Nanoha – The First Movie – Kuji premium. It’s like lottery with the participating members buying tickets to a sure win lucky draw, to win premium goods from the maker.

It’s noticed that there are more than 100 people queuing for the draw, way before the shops are open or before the draw have started. No wonder, when some of the goods are just so premiumly delicious…

Well, the thing about the fiesta is that… Compared to last year, the layout is the same and there is not much too interesting to see, most of the items are simply a rehash what have been revealed, and the Gundam Builder side is a bit underwhelming. Furthermore when I got there the Gundam Image girls are just going away, so quickly that I don’t even have a picture of them close-up… … … =_=|||

But one thing is for real thou, the sales are real! The cash counter there sure is busy, and make sure you don’t throw away the receipt, for you can collect tokens to redeem for more free stuff!

Maybe because it’s just the first day, but I have a feeling, I’ll be more interested next Saturday, when the special guest, Mr Kawaguchi, the creator of the MG series is there for a workshop.

However I did buy something, despite being broke… Got myself Bonta-kun, he is not gundam, but he is from Bandai’s Robot Spirit series! Some SDX are also on sale there!

Yes it’s announce that a bundle of the mahjong featuring Haruhi Suzumiyah titled “涼宮ハルヒちゃんの麻雀/The Mahjong of Haruhi Suzumiyah-chan”will be coming with a Haruhi Petit nendoroid and is a special.

The mahjong game itself, should not be anything special but it does comes with quite a lot of cute artworks of the chibi SOS-dan members. However, the game continues the premium pricing of the Haruhi label.

With the normal version with no petit nendoroid going for 6279yen(with tax) and the DX bundle version going for 9429yen(with tax), Pre-order opens from September onwards.

Ok, I am late… So I thought I can be late for a few more days… Nah… I was involved in a very big event for the nation and really got the time to write this post only recently, event thou I already got my pictures ready.

So here It goes,

Look, I didn’t get Starcraft 2. Yes, I find it very over priced and my pocket accountant just don’t want to thrown out the cash to get it… But I might just get it later in the year… Since there is so many copies floating around, even the US version can be found for $20 cheaper then the local version. Very soon, the price will drop, trust me, so no hurry on that.

Now my pride and glory for the month, my Misaka Mikoto Figurine, by GSC. She is just so beautiful, despite her scary look, the figurine even have a option either to display the particle sword or not. The coin thou is a nice touch, btw I chose not to display the sword.

Then for some weird reasons, I managed to buy 2 Nendoroids… They are just so cute and I can’t seem to ignore them, whenever I drop by KKnM, they are like calling out to me… So I really have no choice not to buy them… Ah Azusa! And the other would be from the Martian franchise, the Japanese SDF representative, and she comes with a lot of fun accessories.

Next, August’s G’s Magazine which I stalked the shop to get… It comes with a Petit Nendoroid of Tachibana aka Angel from Angel Beat! So irresistible, I was lucky to get a copy after a friend give up his 2nd copy…

I also got myself Scandal’s latest album, thanks to Kenneth for the mass ordering. Won’t say too much since Kenneth will be bringing you a better review. I got the DVD version while he got both the photo book and the DVD, I’ve seen the photobook, and it’s really quite delicious…

Lastly, I got myself the game, Uncharted 2. They say it’s a epic movie like game and for now it’s still good. Although I haven’t really progress a lot yet.

Still no Blu-ray anime to review yet… … Hopeful by September I can get my hand on the Blu-Ray of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Hopefully…

Or mail in the form and pay for the costume, for it to be delivered. However, COSPATIO warns that the Plugsuit will be tight and fitting, thus a fitting is recommended.

This of cos not the first time people have been donning the plugsuit, with the EVA motor race team have their race girls wear a race car version of the plugsuit and some of the very good attempts at Cosplay event around the  world.

But without a doubt, these version of the plugsuits are considered licensed merchandises and if you don’t know, they are of limited edition. And people outside of Japan will most likely stand no chance of getting it.

So if you are reading this and not in Japan, you can(not) try to purchase one. So why not just take a look at them…

I was at my favorite anime related goods shop, KKnM today to pay for my pre0rder for my Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiyah ver. Yuki Nagato Nendoroid. When I am there, I saw Sharon planning for the Comiket 78, which they will be setting off for next Tuesday.

The planning is intense, with the hall for the corporate booths the size of 5 times the one used by AFA09. And a total of more then 100 of them to go thru in 3 days. Yes, I have heard of Comiket before, and how awesome it is but this is the first time I have an actual scale of things.

Not to say, the goodies that each and everyone of the booths will be offering and the queues to get to them… Say for example, the game developer 5pb, they will be putting up on sale, Memories Off dakimakura, a Chaos;Head Noah and a Steins;Gate C78 Pack which includes items like T-shirt, a collectible card or CDs.

Then there are the cards from Precious Memories, a K-On! and a “something I can’t remember” hidamari sketch pack is now in the mix, that includes both the starter, the booster pack and a card box…

Not to say, there will be Nanoha The First movie merchandise, which is at the booth 111.

That is not all there is to Comiket, since there are still the hall to the famous Dojinshi Booths and the Left Wing for the Cosplayers. Which practically will be taking up the area the size of maybe our Singapore EXPO or more!

There are just too many things to be looking forward too… Who knows some of the C78 specials might even end up at our ACME II… So for those unable to go to Japan for the Comiket, there might just a be bit of good stuff for us after all.

BTW, the Queues for ACME II is by first come first serve basis…
