Tokyo Anitour is back. And this time, you will be attending the Animelo, a concert of Anisongs. Something like …

Animelo is a concert where all the anime songs singer in Japan comes together to hold a 2 day long MEGA concert in Tokyo, Budokan Saitama Super Arena, the biggest hall in Japan. This is not the first year that Animelo was held, and this will not be the last but every year there will be a theme.

The theme this year is EVOLUTION. And will be featuring an amazing lineup of artist from multiple companies.

Of cos this is not the complete list… This is.

First Day: Angela, Chiaki Ishikawa, Kanako Ito, Minami Kuribayashi, GRANRODEO, JAM Project, Sphere, Yuuka Nanri and fripSide

Second Day: Ayane, Ali Project, Masami Okui, Yukari Tamura, Minori Chihara, Faylan, Nana Mizuki, May’n, and Halko Momoi

You should also note that the above list is not final and will be more action packed. The 2009 Animelo for example have 37 artist and bands performing over 90 songs spread between the 2 days of the concert. This years it looks like a very fierce second day, Nana Mizuki, May’n, Minori Chihara, Ali project… … The second is is going to be good… very good…

Of cos the first day will be propped up by Jam Project, Angela and Chiaki Ishikawa. So it will be good also… just not as much as the second day…

For those wanting to see a small preview, you might want to look at Animax Musix… That might get aired on the Animax channel which is now free with Starhub’s variety channels in Singapore…

To add to the already tempting deal is a the price of the package… That includes a full day Tokyo tour, including locations like Nakano Broadway, Akihabara, and a performance at Dear stage live. Enjoy also a day of freedom in Tokyo and 2 full days of the concert.

If you are thinking what is a land tour… It’s a package for those not from Singapore or at least not traveling from Singapore, you can join the tour from Tokyo Narita Airport. Meaning you fly/boat/swim/teleport/email yourself to Tokyo yourself at your own expenses.

Guild Wars 2, A Dynamic World

Are you sick of the same mechanism of fetching a quest and then going to complete it, even when you know that nothing will happen if you don’t do it…

Then how bout a world where your action matters and, if you with your friends don’t step up to save the world, dreaded monsters and the undead will overrun the village, there by loosing a shopping center or two…Worse they will even use that location to launch further attacks on your side’s territories… Making you loose more shopping centers…

How bout it are you game? Then look forward to Guild Wars 2, yup Guild Wars.

The first game made me an addict of MMO for a month before I run dry and return to reality… Why? It’s the only good looking no subscription needed MMO with a decent plot and gameplay. The world can be huge and interesting, with me progressing thru like a normal RPG, with real counter-parts.

The second seems like an extension of the first and might prove to be quite a winner. But for now, it has only been explained with no real demos… … It will prove to be quite interesting.

Maybe you can make something out of the wall of text explaining the game mechanism…

GT Creator completes 24 Hour Race, 4th in the Class.

The creator of Gran Turismo series and director of the up and coming GT5, Kazunori Yamauchi, had taken part in the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race in Germany concluded just yesterday. As part of the Team World Car Awards, with it’s #72 Lexus IS-F in the SP8 Class, he finished in the 60th position overall and 4th in the class of similar cars.

This is especially after a set back that lead to them starting in the 174th position, overall they have overtaken 112 cars, making it a rather heroic comeback.

Gantz Live Action Movie, coming to Singapore

Hooray, Singapore is the first country outside Japan to get the right for the movie Gantz which is neither previewed nor done. The movie will only be released early next year(2011) according to schedule, and the 2nd one somewhere in spring.

It’s expected to be quite a talk of the town with it’s two superstar in the cast, one being Kazunari Ninomiya from Arashi and the other being Ken’ichi Matsuyama famous from Deathnote(L), DMC(Krauser II), NANA(Shinichi “Shin” Okazaki) and many more. Additional cast includes Takayuki Yamada of the Densha Otoko(Movie), as the mysterious man “Shigeta”.

The budget for the film is considered to be high with the 2 stars, each owning 10 pieces of the “Gantz” fighting suits, costing 500,000Yen(US5400, SGD7500) each. But with 45 companies in 13 countries trying to get the rights to the movie they should have enough to spend.

For now, it’s unknown whether if the film will be shown at which Cinema group and licensed by who.

Gantz is a story about 2 student who died trying to save a homeless but is reanimated to serve “Gantz” by killing the targets, all but 1 of them are aliens.

这首歌是初音唱的， 很好听把！但是可气疯了一点日本人啊。。。

This song is sang in Chinese and by Hatsune Miku. A very nice song which managed to use the voice synthesizer rather nicely, with a song written by Solpie.

But this song is creating some racist comment from the popular video hosting site NICO NICO… Leading to the deletion of the video by the creator… This a bit sad but what to do, it’s quite a norm, so say the experts…

Congrats Playstation 3, You are profitable!

Finally after 3 years of hard work, the Playstation 3 have worked out enough to loss that fat and earn some money for the company. As of March this year, the Playstation 3 by itself without the bundled game is profitable, but the amount of money earned per machine by SONY is unknown. Thou it’s expected to have double digit profit by end of the year. Along with the increasing amount of Playstation 3 sold per month.

So what does this mean for us, definitely not a price cut… But we will see more effort put in by the SONY team, more games to keep the momentum going, and of cos the more budget for the sales and promotion department.

This is going to be a good year for the Playstation 3, especially with the MOVE coming along this year and the 3D update firmware… Now if only they return the Other OS function to keep the people happy.

As for the rest of the Playstation family… They didn’t do as well… along with VAIO…
