K-ON!!

K-ON!! is the name for the 2nd season of K-ON! scheduled to premier in Japan on TBS, 6th April, 1:29am. To make things sweeter, it will be in widescreen.

Apparently there is this 30s and 1min long trailer of K-On!! on youtube this morning, but was soon removed by the copyright police. According to those who managed to catch it, their respond is of pure happiness. With better quality art work and similar art directions.

In any case, thanks to Sankaku Complex… we got it for you…

Black Lagoon Season 3 d(>w<)b

And yes!

Black lagoon will be back for a season 3, this year! In a trailer posted during the Tokyo Anime Fair, that happened last week. This is going to be a good year! And the terminator maid, Roberta is back, I’m so looking forward to it!

Edit: The third season is named, “El Baile de la Muerte” (“The Dance of Death” in Spanish), what an impressive name!

SCC’s STARFEST.

You think you will have enough money to spend next month… Then try and save up for this upcoming event by the Singapore Cosplay Club. The STARFEST, an anime/toy fair. Announced in a post in SGCafe, reproduced below.

The Singapore Cosplay Club introduces a new event this year known as the STARFEST.

STARFEST is the anime/toy fair of the Singapore Cosplay Club and will be held for a week!

STARFEST
Dates: 31st May 2010 – 6th June 2010 (anime/toy fair)
Venue: Funan Digital Life Mall
Time: 11am – 8.00pm

Special program for 5th June 2010

World Cosplay Summit Singapore Semi-Finalists Performances
Time: 2.00pm

You can cosplay on this day if you like.

Aya Hirano’s sick… TT_TT

I would like to wish Aya Hirano, a get well soon.

Aya Hirano has take leave to be rest due to medical conditions that is not revealed. And thus will not be attending the white album event in Tokyo, Japan, this coming 18th April.

Again I would like to wish her a get well soon, and I’ll always support you!!!

Aya Hirano is the seiyu for atleast 2 of the most famouse Anime charactor, Haruhi from Haruhi Suzumiyah no Yetsu and Konata from Lucky Star. Apart from that she is also Seiyu for Yuki Morikawa in White Album.

The King Of Eden Subbed

If you are a vivd follower of the anime Eden of the East, you would be glad to know to that… The ripped and fansubbed edition is out on the internet now. You can already find it at most places of your liking and start the whaling.

Dattebayo and GG have even collaborated to bring it to us, now that is a premium…

Beware thou, most of the versions are atleast 2 gig big, so if you want to watch it ASAP, then start whaling ASAP.

Cosplay Summit Singapore Selection 2010

The selection for the cosplay submit is over and 6 teams have been awarded the chances to join the World Cosplay Submit Singapore semi-finals in Samsung Everland, Korea. In fact I’m still puzzled at why the Singapore Semi-Finals have to be in Korea? And why are we crashing their party… … …

Nonetheless, it’s still a win for the 6 teams and they will be getting a free trip to Korea for the semi-finals, and then come back in July for the Singapore Finals to determine the local representative to the Championships. So good luck to them and may they have a good time there!

In the Singapore selection, organised by Singapore Cosplay Club at West Coast Plaza(Ginza Plaza) on the 27th of March 2010. A total of 10 teams took part in the selection giving those present a wonderfully high quality show.

To tell the truth, I was late and missed out quite a few performances and not tall enough to catch the rest. =_=||| Continue reading →

Durarara! Chatroom O_O;

So you have watched Durarara!!! And is wondering why their chat box is non existence… Now behold, the durarara chatroom! Someone have created a chat room just like the one found in the anime Durarara!!! And it’s fully functional chat room. But due to heavy traffic, looks like the each room is limited to 5 person only and there’s only 10 rooms…

However it’s good to know that something like this exist right? Now lets see if the owner/creator will expand the service or just have fun with it.
